So yesterday i took a big shooter of vodka while making dinner and for some random reason it gave me one hell of a headache a fews minutes after i took it.

I still have a minor headache from it and its been like 8 hours ago.
What happened?

Were you dehydrated to start with? Alcohol causes dehydration, which causes headaches. Did you drink on an empty stomach? That makes alcohol hit your bloodstream faster without being diluted by food, which saves money but increases the likelihood of dehydration and headache. Usually clear drinks like vodka are better on the head, I forget the reason, something to do with barrels. Were you drinking the cheapest shit (probably, considering the website we're on)? You can't blame the producers for the low quality, they give you the most bang for the buck. My advice, a one serving bottle of sochu at 25%, followed by food if desired, then a tall can of chuhai at 8% (carbonated, gets in the bloodstream faster). Cost about four bucks, no spinning, excessive pissing or headaches. You can go to work in the morning, and it's enough for one sitting.

I was drinking absolute vodka(supposed to be a good brand), and yes i had an empty stomarch but i drank a lot of water after that, and i still got the damn headache.

my dinner was ham and egg sandwich with swiss cheese and homemade fries.

Blech, Absolut's nasty. Massive marketing campaigns gave it the impression of being 'good'. Same with Grey Goose.

My suggestion is if you're drinking cheap (quality) vodka, pass it through one of these first: http://www.amazon.com/Brita-42556-80-Ounce-Filtration-Pitcher/dp/B000094Y17/ref=sr_1_12?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1328551601&sr=1-12

My friend uses one of those pitcher-water-carbon-filter-things to filter Taaka (cheapest of the cheap vodka), and it makes it taste a LOT better

Maybe the headache was unrelated.

that's never happened to me with vodka but it happened to me with some weird wine once. I am kind of curious too.

also I don't see why someone would waste money on expensive vodka. drinking vodka is drinking vodka imo.

I've heard that people can't tell the difference between cheap vodka and "quality" vodka in taste tests.
