At my next Model United Nations conference, I'm in the International Criminal Court committee and one of the cases we're going to participate in is a mock trial of Henry Kissinger. I'm aware that he was one of the more vile men during the Cold War, and that he had secretly supported Pol Pot or something like that. Are there any articles, documentaries, etc. that detail the crimes against humanity that Kissinger was responsible for?

John Pilger I think made several documentaries on Cambodia, try a search on YouTube. He does allege weapons sales from 'western democracies' after the war including funneling them through UN warehouses or something. If I remember correctly he also says Russia was giving the country enormous aid and without it the country would be in an even worse mess. I think the idea was that Russia was supporting a new national democracy and other powers or the American bloc wanted to destabilize it because of Russia's influence or have control under their choice of rulers...so sell weapons to Khmer or whoever.

On a separate note, I am astonished no one ever killed Kissinger, but hey it's not too late!
