love his expression:laugh:
Seems Fidel's gunna release his memoirs entitled: "Guerilla of Time" what do y'all think?
think it'll be a interesting read?
are these things (memoirs of politicians) pointless to read due to obvious bias? or do they have some merit?
etc.
didn't he already release his memoirs/autobiography? (My Life)

His latest memoirs apparently concern his distant past as a young revoltionary. Given the anti-worker policies instituted by his brother and successor I would imagine that Fidel prefers to focus upon the past rather than the sordid policies currently being implemented in Cuba.

Fidel Castro's public role for the past decade has been strange because he isn't all there mentally but they don't want to embarrass him or his brother. One observer basically said that if you meet with him now he'll talk for hours about nonsense. I'm guessing that the book was basically him narrating about various topics and that then a ghostwriter sifted through a huge amount of recordings in order to produce the thousand-page memoir. Perhaps it has some nice tidbits in it, though.

You just don't quit hammering the gains of the Cuban Revolution, do you? Considering many workers in Cuba are happy that organic markets give them opportunities to earn a living easier without having to oppress anyone in a property-based hierarchy, I would imagine Fidel's ideas of what are going on now are hardly as embarrassing for him as you'd like them to be.
Fidel's a very salient writer; I look forward to reading it at some point.
