I don't agree with all of this, but much of it does resonate with the way I feel.

that was interesting, thanks. some of the feelings he describes remind a bit of how one can feel in certain protests. even the reliving of it through videos or stories (i haven't been to such an event in years, but i eat that shit up like its candy), remembering vividly certain tastes (gatorade and camel regular cigarette). obviously its on a whole different level when you're there for months or years and actively facing death rather than just a nasty bruise or pepper spray effects, but i would guess both trigger similar things in people
