Comrades,

Is there a decent history website providing comprehensive info. about the history of various nations? Something objective. Not for school or anything, I just want to acquire knowledge for my own satisfaction. VIDEO GUIDES will also be nice.

Thanks,
Elysian

Try http://www.besthistorysites.net/ Some of it is open access, some's not, some dead links.

Wikipedia is also pretty dang good these days. The public library here has a database with some good history stuff in it -- but you need a card number.

I think wikipedia for history is pretty good, I mean it's no more or less accurate then any other site.

http://www.socialismtoday.org/ good for contemporary but has some history
http://www.socialistworld.net/ ditto
www.wsws.org/ - not bad for history, bit iffy on some contemporary stuff.
marxists.org all the history you need
wikipedia good basic starting point but it does get some things wrong.
