So I've been bouncing this idea of creating a study group on campus for a while. Though I would prefer to start one that a larger scope that just students, but I don't have much experience organizing. Another reason is that there are a lot of resources on campus for this and potential for guests speakers for teach-ins. But anyways now I come to the point of this thread. So far this group is just me. How do I reach out to more people to get them involved? Also I want this group to go beyond the established left on this campus, since its either the ISO who would just use this to recruit new people, liberals who claim to be anarchists, or some reformists (though more radical than average) trade unionists. I also hope that this could develop beyond just a study group one day while I'm still at the university but this is a secondary goal.
So for those who have experience with this sort of thing, please put in your 2 cents on organizing.
