At least conservatives like mises, etc. provide themselves useful in the sense that they remind us to constantly be theoretically in check (For example, when we crush them in argument) and that they, at the least, criticize socialism in a useful way (We have a lot to figure out and learn).

Liberals make themselves appear as if they are the "Progressive force". They do, on occasion, attempt (the small time liberals) to alleviate the suffering, but fail every time
