On November 7th, 2003 (that's this year and this month, just a couple weeks ago for those of you who haven't looked at a calender for your whole life) a group of young people (how young, I do not know) gathered on the top of a state Duma building in Russia. They removed the white/blue/red flag from the flagpole on the building, letting it fall to the ground, and hoisted a red, triangular banner. They then dumped leaflets over the side of the roof, which read "Long live the Great October
socialist revolution!" Reportedly, the red banner flew above the Duma building for near an hour before militia finally restored the "sovereign flag."
