Anyone read any of his stuff or have an opinion of his political ideology? I just discovered him today by accident and wonder if it's worth picking up his books, namely his most famous, "We."
He's said to have inspired Ayn Rand and George Orwell, among others, and today's Libertarians like to claim him as one of theirs. As far as Wikipedia could tell me, though, he was a revolutionary Bolshevik dissatisfied with where the Soviet Union was headed and wrote in Marxist publications.
So was he good, was he bad, was he...Libertarian? :confused:
