I'm looking for something small and simple I could use to trim music. There are some good songs that I'd like to trim intros too (like where they might add people talking or whatever before a song). Anybody know of anything?
I wasn't sure if this is the right section, so move it if it isn't.

Audacity's (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) pretty easy to use.

Audacity's excellent. There's also Wave Editor (http://www.wave-editor.com/) which is simpler and allows saving in any format

If you got a mac, garageband works fine for this, entire albums (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treats_(album)) have been produced/engineered using it and it's still really easy. Otherwise, audacity's a good choice. Never used wave editor, but seems cool if you're just looking to do something simple.
Also, the nice thing is that most DAWs have pretty similar layouts/functions, so it's easy to transition from simpler ones like garageband to more advanced ones if you want to at some point.
