I'm kind of addicted to Wikitravel...does anyone else just go on there and read about random countries? I do.
I was trying to find the place that Wikitravel urges against going to in the strongest terms, and I think it's here: http://wikitravel.org/en/Mogadishu Yemen gets a pretty strong warning, too.

WARNING: Chechnya is most emphatically not a tourist destination and not safe for independent travel or sightseeing
WARNING: Grozny remains extremely dangerous and is emphatically NOT a tourist destination. Chechen rebels are active and the Russian Mafia is highly active within the city.

Wow, Chechnya (if that write-up is to be believed) has one less hotel than Mogadishu does! :lol:
Wide-scale violence and barbarism have become the norm of this tragic region.
Sounds like a winner.

@ES
Reading wikitrevel on Zagreb it looks I have showed you everything :D I'm such a good guide... :cool:
Park Ribnjak, located very close to the city centre, is safe during daytime and worth visiting, especially for children. However, it has recently become a night-time meeting place of alternative youngsters, and subculture violence involving "skinheads" and similar violent young people has occasionally occurred. It's best to steer clear of Ribnjak after dark, which shouldn't be a problem because of a lack of interesting content for most tourists anyway.
I was arrested here for public nudity!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

Due to its neighbouring of Chechnya, Chechen terrorists often target Russia for bombings or for terrorist threats. If you are planning to visit Dagestan, consult to your embassy before you are planning a trip to this region.

On my city/hometown:
it has the highest number of millionaires per capita in the nation.Interesting.
Conversely, it also has one of the highest rates of African Americans living under the poverty line.
Basically.
It is still quite racially divided, with the affluent west side and Midtown being predominantly white, the south side Latino, and the northeast side African American.
Obvious statement is obvious :/
