against capitalism by david schweickart. I know he is a market socialist but are his philosophical arguments against capitalism good?

He is used a lot in the Anarchist FAQ, but is he considered a good anti-capitalist philosopher?

Like what the arguments are. I googled him and found his wikipedia entry and read that, but what more do you want?

I tend to feel that if one is posting on a theoretical question or a series of theoretical questions, you should at least write a paragraph. Your post isn`t as bad as some of the ultraminimal ones a la `Race is a social construct. Discuss`or the wall of text that people maybe write or more likely just copy off some document.

From his bibliography he seems that he is an anti-capitalist Market Socialist. OK, so what does that mean? Is his critique of capitalism good, but his solutions bad? You could try giving a couple of his critical ideas, and a couple of his solutions -- the ones you thought were either best or most provocative.

I usually enjoy your posts. I refuse to deal with stuff like

Sorry, I just assumed most of everyone in here was familiar with his work.

Here is a quick glance at the book:

I know his solutions probably won't be the best considering I think Market socialism is not a very good idea, but I was wondering if his critique of capitalism is good?
