I haven't decided what to do yet. I share the same misgivings about the stormjackets or whatever they are called. However, I also don't feel I really understand where the empire is coming from with a silly ban on religious worship. I guess my man died for the Empire in the previous iteration of this thing, so on some level the empire seems legit. And on the whole I am sympathetic to crushing these xenophobic separatists but I just don't understand why the peasants should care.

Side note: Worship of Talos is banned because the Empire lost the Great War against the Thlamor and part of the treaty was that they couldn't worship their god-emperor dude (I am pretty sure that was the reason).
