I don't see any reason to think otherwise, they use Nazi themes and imagery.

No probably not, do they/he have a unhealthy fetish with Nazi imagery? yes, and do I reserve the right to be offended by said imagery and bash anyone wearing a totenkopf dij shirt? yes too

I used to like them a lot, listened to them again and they're kinda crap but in a good way.
I don't know. They started out as Crisis, a band linked up with the SWP and very anti-Nazi - apparently they were involved in street fights against far-right groups and stuff. Then when they evolved into DiJ some weird things happened. One member or collaborator was definitely a member of the National Front and has since apologised. They seemed to identify with Strasserism I think. How much of it is an act is hard to tell, so yeah, I'd go with 'probably'.
e2a: actually i'd say they probably hold racialist views but wouldn't necessarily say they were nazi.

Didn't they record an album as a benefit for some serbian nationalist group?
I wanted a DiJ shirt, but couldn't find one that didn't have nazi shit on it, which I don't feel comfortable wearing, especially since I'm already working on a tattoo which incorporates runes.

The "nazis or not" thing is not that simple with them, since they (he, actually) seem to be more like Evolian neo-fascists, which is a different thing than actual nazis as in white-supremicist thugs. But fascists all the same and indeed cuddly with common nazis.
I still can't post links, but google the following and you will get the links:
stewarthomesociety death in june not mysterious
whomakesthenazis peter webb neo-folk
whomakesthenazis datacide subculture hegemony
whomakesthenazis roots sol invictus
whomakesthenazis wakeford manoeuvres
Read this stuff and you will get the picture.

No, they are National Bolshevists, which isn't any less stupid. They use Nazi symbolism to shock people which is pretty stupid. They have some good music but are pretty repetitive and not very versatile, plus there nonsense politics annoy me. There politics aren't really hateful as much as they are misguided and immature. I very much perfer Current 93.

I saw a dude at uni wearing a DiJ t-shirt today (or yesterday). He was pretty stylish actually, and the t-shirt didn't look dodgy at all - just an old photo of them and 'Death in June' written above. Quite cool.
In my darker days I contemplated getting a Current 93 tattoo lololol

I don't think that's exactly what they are. They're more of a hodgepodge of nazbolism, evolian crap and a huge strasserite fetish as well as pretty much any other kind of obscure "europeanist" ideology you can imagine. Thing is, they're deliberately not clear about it, because confusion and obscurity is part of the whole thing and fits the Alain De Benoist reverse gramscian tactics of quietly conquering people through aesthetics.
An interesting thing about their political history is that they began their career as punk rock Trotskyists in the (awesome) band Crisis. Then, when they went to the dark side, they found out about the Strasser brothers, Röhm, the S.A. and so on and applied the Trotskyist "revolution betrayed" myth to the nazis as if Hitler was the nazi Stalin, as in a reactionary usurper, and the Strassers the betrayed "true revolutionaries", the "nazi Trotskys".
All interested should check out the very entertaining text on them on the Stewart Home Society website.

I know shit about this band, but is seems that there are a lot of bands whit nazi imagery who are actually not nazis.
Here's some Japanese stuff for example:
*REMOVED SWASTIKA IMAGE, BREACH OF GUIDELINES - PSYCHO*
http://www.last.fm/music/Rommel
http://www.last.fm/music/Mein+Kampf
http://www.last.fm/music/Rosenfeld
All 3 bands are like the best trash metal bands from Japan.
Also, this punk band:
http://www.last.fm/music/Sieg+Heil (these guys even have songs like: Who Killed The Jews?, Nazism, Sieg Heil...)
Now, the question is if you wanna listen to such music. Also, we could ask question does this music promotes Nazism... I think it does, but still I listen to all 4 bands, because I have rule: I listen to what I like musicaly and I sing what I like lyricaly. Some Japanese shit with swastika on it can't change my political views
