Im considering going to Portugal this summer, and Im just curious if theres any places with a leftist history or leftist meaning, symbolism or whatever.
For example, if Id be going to Moscow, Id visit Lenins tomb, if I was in London Id visit Highgate cemetary and so on.

The university that Amilcar Cabral went to? I don't know, Portugal isn't exactly famed for its leftist history. Why is this so important to you anyway? At most you'll probably find some monument that some leftist guys put up.

Portugal isn't exactly famed for its leftist history. That's not entirely true. The Carnation Revolution and communist resistance to the Salazar regime are notable.

The CGT in Portugal had 90,000 members by 1922. In terms of proportion of the working class to the country, over 40% of organized labor in Portugal were in this revolutionary syndicalist union. Maybe there's some history on them you could see?
