I was watching the news today and it had an interview with a minister in the American government and the interviewer asked why is it down to Blair to campaign to keep the alliance strong? The reply was it would be too much of a security risk if it was Bush.

The interviewee didn't elaborate any further so does that mean that they are scared of an attack on Bush?

View Blair as being lower in the coalition and it doesn't matter if he gets bumped off?

Or...
Is Bush such a fool that he will do somehting incredibly stupid and the American security services don't have time to go to every country he would have to visit and put child locks on all the doors and cover up sockets??

I think the later is the most true!

Its not that Blair is lower in the coalition, just that he can string a sentence together.

well, bush, with his phony war on afghanistan and the muslim people, is simply adding to the cycle of violence without addressing the very real greivances of the arab world against his administration. he will bring serious reprisals upon the american people. in that sense he is a security risk for america. they should execute him for his crimes against humanity and american citizens. oh no, sorry i forgot, the us president's unaccountable to anyone since they control the un and his administration keeps vetoing the establishment of an independant international court of justice. no guesses why. the same reason milosevic won't recognise the legitimacy of the icj in the hague - because he's going to get seriously fucked by it.

As I said to one of my friends

America's only response to a crisis is to wave a flag, not sort it out.

But seriously people aren't really going to like someone who basically treats them like dirt and lives and etremely comfortable life, contribute little in terms of their proportional wealth towards anything else and don't notice that there are people who aren't as well of as them.

And before someone says that the US contributes more than anyone else needs to remember an extract from the bible about an Old Woman and a Temple.
