From awhile back I'm sure the administration gave the OK to have fierce debates about Biblical context, such as between Jewish-theologian/academic and Christian-theologian/academic interpretations of certain verses. If this is still good, then there are numerous contextual topics to be debated upon.
Some ideas:
1) Isaiah 45:7 - "peace and evil" vs. translations of the latter into "calamity"
2) Isaiah 53 - "suffering servant" as individual figure or national identity or ethnic survival (Holocaust)
3) Deut. 8:2-3 - how much of "not by bread alone" was really applicable to temptations in the New Testament and beyond
4) Levitical passages re. homophobia - contextual basis for homophobia or against pagan acts by straight folks
