It's been a while since I've posted anything here and I'm curious as to if anyone knows anyone organizing for G8/NATO in Chicago or RNC, Tampa or DNC, Charlotte this year.
I'm interested in and have been discussing among friends and acquaintances organizing a Pacific Northwest convergence and mobilization around the prior and may also be interested in doing the same around the latter two. Subsequently, it'd be cool to touch base with local organizers on such broad topics as in which areas we could focus our training and workshop efforts to better augment the organizing y'all are doing in these locations (do you need more medics? legal observers? media folk? Folks trained in YaBa tactics?, etc? We can orient our convergence to the specific needs of the Chicago, Tampa and Charlotte) and if you want any help with convergences in these cities.
I know it's far too early to be thinking about specifics and this is hardly a secure space to be doing so. Thus, while anyone interested in touching base with me on this is welcome to do so either here or by emailing me at [email protected], let's keep our discussion very security conscious.
