Little DIY project, it's the first guitar I've modded (or at least attempted to). In the first pic you can see that I've painted a sort of red tiger pattern on the headstock and the locking nut I installed. The second pic's just a better shot of the red tiger pattern running all down the back of the neck. In the third pic you can see that I've replaced the single coil pickup in the bridge with a humbucker, I've also installed a Floyd Rose, a mirror pickguard (think Tom Morello's Soul Power), black tone and volume knobs and of course the red star! The forth pic is just my Gibson Les Paul Custom which I picked up the other week for an absolute steal at only £200 from one of friends!

I like the body, not so much the neck and head though. For a second I thought there was something printed on the pickguard and I was trying to work out what the hell it was lol.

I'll be honest in that I'm not a fan, but then again my electric is gathering dust and in dire need of getting fixed up/repaired so good on your efforts.

EDIT - In the sense of the design rather than the tech work.

PPS - If you are such a warlock, you should source me a £200 Fender Jag. DO IT

It looks good to me... the questions really is-- how does it sound?

I'm a Les Paul fanatic... but as a second Fenders!

Dunno man I haven't put it together yet cos I'm yet to buy some of the parts, I'm not 100% confident that I've wired the humbucker pickup correctly but if not I'll just use the neck pickup and the humbucker will act as a killswitch so it's all good. I'm a Les Paul fan too so the Gibson's my primary, I guess you could call the Strat my "lab rat" haha
