I think it should be noted these two progressions don't have ties with each other, except for the fact they both anger the West.

When you talk about nuclear progress and missiles, it's easy to put 2 and 2 together and think "nuclear missiles??".

the point wasnt to make it sound like iran has some new nuclear weapons. iran denies having any interest in building nuclear weapons but they are not shy about having conventional military aspirations in the face of US/NATO actions in the region

Well most religions tend to think theirs is the only correct one and all others will go to hell.

Its not a big leap from there to start lending a hand and send the "heathens" there.

Organized religion is a great divider of people and should be fought tooth and nail.
If someone believes in something that is their choice but we all know how bad things can get when a whole lot of people are supporting of ideas that are very harmful as that is how pogroms get started.

Well, I'm betting there will be a armed conflict in the region sometime in this coming year. Especially with the fact that the US has sent thousands of troops to Israel recently as well. At this point I think conflict is inevitable.

As much as I hate theocratic states, I hate NATO and Imperialism even more. So, once again: The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

I really hope I am wrong and all of this gets settled in some peaceful manner. Too many people would die.
