How many are there?

I had never encountered one until I recently replayed Empire Earth, and at the fifth level of the German campaign you play the national socialists on the offensive against Poland, Denmark, Norway and France. I pulverized Poland mercilessly, but I've been having some difficulties with Norway and Denmark, perversely. The Baltic should have been a pushover for me, I'll never be able to bomb Paris at this rate...

I think there are a few home-brew video games you can download. Really shitty quality, really racist stuff though...

If I were a nazi in a game, I would keep committing suicide, get bored, and turn it off.

The game "Ethnic Cleansing" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethnic_Cleansing_%28video_game%29) might be to your liking...

In the game, the protagonist (the player can choose either a skinhead or a Klansman) runs through a ghetto killing black people and Latinos, before descending into a subway system to kill Jews. Finally he reaches the "Jewish Control Center", where Ariel Sharon, former Prime Minister of Israel, is directing plans for world domination. The player must kill Sharon to win the game.

Also you can play as the Germans on multiplayer in Return to Castle Wolfenstein (though I don't know if people still play that - they should, it's awesome). Then there's the Hearts of Iron series of strategy games, if that's your thing (if it isn't, ram a bookcase up your own asshole). Axis and Allies has an Axis campaign.

Also Battlefield 1942 but if you didn't know that you might as well stop playing video games right now.

hahaha Empire Earth is not some shitty game created by National Alliance or something, though. It's a pretty good game, actually...in the initial German campaign levels you fight in WW1. The other ones have you playing as the British, Greeks and Russians. Personally I like the WW1 levels because they're kind of modeled on the protracted battles of how the war was fought. So by the end you've slain thousands of scurvy British dogs for the German fatherland.

A lot of strategy games let you play as the nazis -- especially tactical wargames. From Hearts of Iron to Steel Panthers to Men Of War to Company of Heroes (I think?). Then there's WW2 shooters (especially multiplayer ones) like Red Orchestra, Day of Defeat, etc. etc. etc.

To my chagrin, you see a lot of people play as the nazis in these games. I don't think it's out of any affinity towards nazis, really, but people who are into historical shooters and tactical wargames just have this obsession with the Wehrmacht along with some illusion of what the Wehrmacht was actually like.

Red Orchestra 1 and 2. (red army and german army)
World War II Online. Ill admit right now i played as the germans. one justification being the german Kwk sights were much better than french/american and british tank sights.

The Hearts of Iron series is excellent and you can play any country during the WWII era (obviously including Germany). The Germans are probably the single funnest country to play in that game (closely followed by the Soviets).

I've had many a happy hour marching through Warsaw, Paris and Moscow. :p

Good news, guys, I tried playing the level again and succeeded. I rolled through the Polish countryside with Panzers and heavy machine guns (cavalry vs armor, lol), then after a brief bombing run laid waste to Paris with an artillery barage that turned the Eiffel Tower into a heap of twisted scrap metal.

Finally I rained non-stop death from above on Norway and Denmark with Heinkel He-111's. Go me. I'm now on the final level of the campaign, in which I have to invade Britain in "operation sea lion". Let's hope I'm more successful than the real Nazis!

The ww2 german weapon are pretty fun to use in most fps, especially the mp40 and the stg44.

Russian tanks are cooler tho.
