I've been having this persistant pain in my lower stomach, but now it seems to have moved a little towards my chest. It's been consistent for the past 3 or 4 hours, and it's not like my usual stomach aches (i.e. I don't have to go to the bathroom). It hurts especially if I stand up or walk, etc. I went to go see a doctor and they gave me a shot (speculating that it might be intestinal inflammation) and sent me on my way, but the pain still persists. What complicates matters is that I'm not a citizen of the country I'm currently in.

Damn. This sucks.

What is your diet day to day?

Oh and what color is your urine and does it smell like burnt popcorn?

It might be serious, I've had strong abdominal pain for over a year now, but eventually I think its subsided to a fraction of what it was. You might need an endoscopy.

I usually just eat whatever's cheap and on the street. Not healthy, in other words, but it's only been unhealthy for the past few weeks...I've gone through years of unhealthy eating without any bad effects, but maybe it's catching up to me.

But yeah, I did take a piss and, while there was no blood in my urine that I could tell, it did have kind of a weird smell. But I was expecting it to be dark/bloody so I didn't really pay much attention.

It's most likely intestinal inflammation due to poor diet. I used to eat all the crap I wanted to then I turned 21 and bam! Whenever I eat poorly I get abdominal and chest pain.

The stress you have about the stomach pain could also be making it worse.

Try eating better, more water, less coffee, fruits veggies, and see how that goes.

EDIT:

Have you been taking a lot of aspirin lately either? Cause it could also be an infection from too much aspirin.

Call your doctor, check in. Don't ask an internet forum for help, seek a medical professional.

I have consulted with a medical professional, although there was a bit of a language barrier. I'm just going to lie down and monitor my own condition and try to relax, drink some water, hopefully it'll get better.

Do you have safe contacts in the country you're in? I would take it really easy for a day and see how you feel.

I would definitely go to the hospital. What you are experiencing could be something completely mild like intestinal inflammation, or it could be something serious like appendicitis or who knows what.

Just look at this wiki page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdominal_pain) on abdominal pain - there's so many possibilities that I would consult a professional. That said, if you are unable to do so, you should definitely modify your diet as best as possible and do mild stretches each day to keep your muscles loose.

I feel a little better today. Still have a general feeling of unease in my abdomen, but the sharp pains and cramping is mostly gone.
