I will only talk about the two big universities (in nearly all if not all won left wing candidates).
Left wing advocates won in the Catholic University of Chile elections (against the gremialists, who are right wing conservatives)
In the University of Chile, people from the Autonomous Left Wing Movement
won (better than the commies because they do not follow the orders of the communist party). With Boric as president, Camila Vallejos as vice president and an anarchist as a secretary.
This represents a victory for the students who want a better education, because many said the student movement would die.
