I want to sew a black red flag. I´ve got black and red textile and want to sew it together.
Did anybody made a black red flag before and can give me tips?

Make a rectangle of both coloured matierials, the size you want your flag to be. Then cut the black rectangle in half diagonally, you should end up with two matching black triangles. Sew one of the triangles to the top corner of the red rectangle using black thread. Sew the other triangle to the top corner on the reverse side, also using black thread. Practise with paper first if you are nervous, paper is cheaper.:D Tidy up the edges when you're finished and if you want the flag to look profesional and last hem it at the end. Alternatively i've heard that if you coat the edges in clear glue they don't fray but the effect won't be so pretty.

What I do is cut both pieces of cloth in triangles, then put a red and a black piece next to each other, creating the red and black flag, then fold along the color divide line, put small needles along the line, pinning both pieces together, and then start sewing.

That way, you can make two flags instead of one.

Well, this is one of them

And these two are too

Also, you might want to fold the edges towards the inside and sew them over, so the thread doesn't unravle (unraffle? not sure what the english word is here).

Place a red and a black rectangle of cloth two centimeters larger than the size of the finished flag atop each other and cut them diagonally. Align a triangle with one of the other color. Pin a centimeter of material along the long edge to make a good sewing surface, and sew away. Lay it so that the sewn side faces you, and use the other two triangles to create a mirror image of the ones you just sewed and affix them to each other in the same manner. Then pin a centimeter around each flag inward towards the sewn side of the long seams and sew them to make a hem. Place a strip the height of the flag and four centimeters wide of strong cloth like denim or burlap on the hoist side of one of the flags such that half is within the flag and half without. Glue it in place. Next put the two flags on top of each other with the seams inward. Sew around the edges of the flags ( and through the strip) and you have a durable two layered flag with no exposed seams that will last you many years to come. Finally, sew on two loops of cloth, preferably the same sort as the strip, at the top and bottom of the flag. Voila a DIY Anarchist-Communist flag!

EDIT: The word is 'unravel', An archist; you had it correct.
