So, we've decided to start up a discussion forum for our members, supporters and friends.

Let me know what you think.

The superstructure is there and you have a base design but you need some members there and perhaps searching for a webpage designer to help out with the design would be good.Seems very bland in style.

I like the style, reminds me of facebook and thats pretty popular. Perhaps you need to start some topics for something to discuss.

Keep plugging along at the board development, comrade. It's a good alternative to the RL usergroup WPA, so long as that usergroup remains as the link between this board and yours.

It's a good and necessary start...just the beginning.
Registration is a pain in the butt however. I've tried 5 times now, and keep getting various errors.
edit---Finally succeeded registration, but I have to tell you that the human verification code is barely readable, and I may not have missed notice (if any) about the password parameters required, so it took an awful lot of frustrating tries to figure out and meet the password standard.

That's fixed now, FYI.

In my case, I just asked for a different human verification code. I hope the admin confirmations aren't backlogged.

Need to get discussions going. I sorta have the dilemma of "so much to do, where to start?" Plus hoping others would share their ideas and concerns first. I hate always having to be first on out on the dance floor, sometimes.

I don't get the feeling of "so much to do" for some reason. There isn't much discussion in the WPA group on this board. Where to start is the more pressing concern.

We received a very interesting letter today that might help with getting the ball rolling.

I've noticed a trend among much of the left to discuss the Occupy movement in past tense. Why?
Come over to the Workers Party Forum to discuss this, and what we working people need to do from here to rebuild, reorganize and reoccupy.

Usually just has to do with writing styles and using the past tense as more dynamic. Most of the time writers detail events that happened in the past (hence the word "news;"someone has to report a happened event in order to know anything about it).

I meant past tense as if speaking of a defeated movement in the past.
And some of the conclusions being drawn are really chapping my ass.

Theorists enjoy history so that is probably why it sounds that way.
The conclusions are to be expected to appear in a somewhat defeatist way since the occupy movement is largely a liberal affair.

We set it that way when we were setting it up. I've changed the permissions now, so guests can see most of the forum.
