I didn't read the whole article but it sounds like a strategic move on the part of Hams.

Do they still think the Protocols of the Elders of Zion were the factual minutes of a real meeting and not an antisemitic ploy by Tsarist intelligence? Does the destruction of Israel mean the destruction of the state institution, or the physical removal of the millions of Jews who live there now? Hamas isn't as bad as some of its detractors make it out to be but IMO it still can't be trusted.

Hamas are reactionary class collaborationist scum .

Calling them fascists isn't too far off.

well many palestinians are against both hamas and fateh due to the past 4 years especially.
it would be very good if a party of the left did well at such times.

Right and especially a party which rejects both would most likely do well, like the KPRF did in Russia.

After the cesspool that wikileaks opened about the PLO i am very surprised that Hamas openly joins with them.

Israeli imperialism must be delighted to finally get some good news this year.

Right and especially a party which rejects both would most likely do well, like the KPRF did in Russia.Z i wasnt aware the russia party had rejected fateh or hamas.
still,as i mentioned with the islamist trend at present in the arab world, it would be good if any of the 8 or so palestinian leftist partys did well.
