Idealism and materialism and duelism are metaphysical positions about the fundementals of reality, Marx's materialism turnover to social theory was limited, but by no means did Marx believe that only Material conditions cause social ideology or vice versa, he believed it was a dialectic, but that had nothing to do with metaphysical materialism, nor did it mean that Marx regected ethics.
Marx used class analysis also very specifically, nor did he claim everything that came out of bourgeois thought was wrong, (Marx followed and built on liberal thinking), using his class analysis to call things "bourgeois" as a slur is a total missunderstanding of the class analysis, which was meant as a technical analysis of economics.
