early this sunday morning, israeli troops shot and killed a 55 year old man, during a raid into the southern gaza strip. an 8 year old boy was also injured during the raid.
the man's home was then demolished after being searched.
According to the UN relief agency UNRWA, Israel carried out an average of 74 house demolitions each month in the Palestinian territories during the first half of this year.
