Is there any device/battery/capacitor that you can manually charge up full of electricity with your bare hands and later plug appliances in for use? It would be very fucking useful and easier on the electric bill if I could at least use this for the fridge or computer.

I see folks riding bike powered generators at occupy protests, i think they charge car batteries not sure.
