If this had actually happened, you'd think it would be all over Press TV, no?

cmoney posted this ages ago and put it in the invisible trash when it was revealed. It would have been better to have just left it up obviously.

I am quite certain they will finish their dirty business in Syria before going after Iran.
This way Iran would not be able to count on Syria in support of retaliatory attacks on Israel and other pro-imperialist nations.
I wonder what happens when Hezbollah loses the Syrian governments support after Assad is gone.
Would they fight to support Iran or would they keep low and eventually be smashed by the IDF when they come to settle old grievances ?

Yes, agreed.

Correct.
I wonder what happens when Hezbollah loses the Syrian governments support after Assad is gone.
I'm thinking this may be an unsound formulation.
The last I heard, there were general strikes in Syria -- do you think that a mass workers' movement would depose Assad and then back a government that is *unfriendly* to Hezbollah -- ? -- (???)

I do not think Assad will be overthrown by the workers movement but by western imperialism.
Even if the workers got to that point first the imperialists would still barge in and take over.
So that the next Syrian government would turn out to be hostile to Hezbollah is extremely likely.
As such its interesting to me what Hezbollah would then do should Iran come under attack.
