Carpet bombing not enough?

Nuclear too much?

Don't worry, $27,000 can buy you the right bomb for mass destruction.

Surgical strikes my commie ass.

I just noticed this when I looked at the link in the message. The main reason for this bomb to be developed was to clear large mine fields but it was first used for that job in 1991, this is a bomb that was used in the Vietnam war, quite a long time before it was used for its reason to be made.

The BLU-82 bomb, was developed to provide the USAF with a high-blast bomb for creating corridors through large minefields

The bomb was first used in the mine-clearing role by the USAF in 1991, to open the Desert Storm ground war.

Regarding surgical strikes, studies in the wake of the Kosovo campaign discovered a 72% miss rate for allied strikes in the region. There were just over 10,000 bomb and missile strikes, meaning at least 7,200 bombs going where they weren't(?)supposed to.The war in Afghanistan has far exceeded 10,000 strikes. How many missed this time?In the UK they have admitted to four,I doubt it!

Let us not fool ourselfes. Americans consider only dead Americans as victims, other dead people ( Afghans, Yugoslavs, Iraqi ), they see as a statistic.

They expect us all " to cry " for WTC. Nobody cried for 10.000 people killed in Sarajevo ( ex- Yugoslavia ). And when 25 Afgan civilians get killed in every day bombing, it is just a news, shorter than a weather forecast.
