Are you a Marxist-Leninist, comrade? A social democrat, an anarchist, are you undecided, perhaps?
Are their many leftists in Palestine?

Ian
15th November 2003, 22:24
The PFLP is a marxist-leninist guerrilla group in Palestine so I would think that our friend is a Marxist Leninist

" Are you a Marxist-Leninist, comrade? "

yes .

Are their many leftists in Palestine?

also yes , but the leftists in general not strong , as an example PFLP (POPULAR FRONT FOR THE LIBERATION OF PALESTINE) acts about 8% from the palestinian people , and there is about 5 leftists party in palestine.

but all in fact acts about 10% with pflp from the palestinians.

Wow - another PFLP supporter!!

As-salaam aleikum, comrade! :)

I have supported them for many years - last year I went to Palestine myself and met many interesting people from the PFLP - I also met Mustafa Barghouti during that visit. Unfortunately one friend of mine that was active in the PFLP was arrested in a raid on Ramallah when I was there and is in a zionist prison now :(

Anyway - I have a souvenir that the PFLP gave me - it is a wooden carving with their logo and a Palestinian flag painted on the original land of Palestine (the whole thing - not just the West Bank! =D ) a truly beautiful souvenir - I will post a picture of it tonight :)

Ya'eesh PFLP!

Mah as-salaama :)

See the Che pictures they are carrying? Almost all the PFLP people I met had pictures of Che - one guy I know uses "Castro" as his online name :)

Welcome Palestinian comrade!

Here in the United States, there is much support for the Palestinian cause among us on the left, despite the propaganda attempts.

The Israeli embassy, in conjunction with Zionist student groups has something called the “caravan for democracy” which makes it way to college campuses. They bring representatives from the Israeli embassy to “counter anti-Israel/pro Palestine sentiments that are breading like wildfire on college campuses today.” (That’s a direct quote actually.)

When they came here to Albany, they were quite shocked to see 500 + students outside protesting, and more who gained entrance to the event, and disrupted the event by asking honest questions.. haha.. The problem with Caravan for democracy is not that it gives Zionists a platform to voice their opinions, but rather that it doesn’t allow for an opposition voice.

A friend of mine, who had converted to Islam a few years ago, formed a small group (which I’m a part of) to follow Caravan for Democracy events throughout the north-east. This semester I attended several of their events, sadly none of them had as much protest against it than last year at Albany. They seem to keep the events low-key now, and only popularize it through Zionists. As my friend is a very outspoken person, and well versed on the Palestine issue, he is the perfect candidate to pose an opposition viewpoint. And sadly, if he didn’t attend these, there would be none.

We’ve been thrown out of every one of these events by the way.. but not before we got in a “FREE PALISTINE” chant.. And held up a Palestinian flag. ;)

welcome..

I once got an assignemt in school to write a letter to the childeren in palestina and then they would write something back...It's was really shocking for me to read how these kids lived under the Israelian rule...

from then on Im an even bigger supporter of the Palestinans...but I don't know many of the palestinian groups so I appologize for the fact that the PFLP didn't ring any bells but I hope that you learn us more about it and about Palestina..

greetingz..
