a known criminal from north-african descent committed a attack this afternoon with a Kalashnikov and explosives on the christmas market in liege, belgium.
4 people including the gunman got killed dozens got injured.
the perps motivations are completely unclear at the moment, considering the fact that he was prosecuted for drugtrade a muslim extremist angle sounds unlikely but since a member of sharia4belgium was arrested recently for trying to sell a kalashnikov expect the far-right and xenophobes to point their fingers that way.
the attack happened in front of the central court building (it was first thought it was part of a botched prisonbreak) so maybe it was a retaliatory attack. [edit: apparently the gunman was supposed to report to the police for questioning today]

between this and the fascist attack in florence today (http://www.revleft.com/vb/far-right-gunman-t165862/index.html?p=2321000#post2321000) the fuckers at stormfront must be creaming their pants about "the race war" starting.

I was looking at the CNN site earlier, and most of the comments were from the usual fear-mongering/already scared shitless morons who think every act of mass murder is carried out by a Muslim in the name of Islam.

although this attack was indeed more "random" than the attack in florence today its telling how much more people are getting worked up about this one while the deathcount so far is almost the same.
had the fascist in florence access to the same arsenal as this guy he would have used it as well and probably more effective. a year ago some far-rightest went on a similar shooting spree in belgium btw.
pretty clear that african streetvendors count as less than christmas market shoppers in the eyes of the media.
