Comrades!
I have broken my hip taking a free kick! I'm 15! I thought this was meant to happen to old ladies in their eighties!

Ouch. Hey, I broke my arm falling from a couch when I was ten. :p

It's really annoying isn't it?! Painful too!

I've broken more things than I'm prepared to count, the couch just happens to be the most hilarious. Hell, my life began with breaking a collar bone.

Complicated birth? Sorry Comrade! You broken your hip?

Pretty complicated, yeah. No hips, fortunately, that shit is whack. Knew a guy who broke one falling of his bike (the fueled type) and now has a titanium screw in him for life.

Ouch! Mine wasn't that bad! It'll be better in two months or so! Anyway have a good day comrade!

I like bruised my hip bone and like cracked it one time or something. Can't express how much it sucked.

Pshhh, sever your achilles tendon, then talk to me.

Ouch. Did you break your actual pelvis, or did you break the ball on your proximal femur? That's what happens to a lot of old ladies when they say they've broken their hip.

I broke my arm at swim team practice. We decided for dry-land exercises we would have a running backwards race... was afraid of running backwards from then until I joined marching band and had to.

I've broken/dislocated so many bones before. The one which really sucked is when I broke my arm. Broke both of those bones in my left arm rollerskating. After months and months of having a cast I am healed and what do I do? Within a month I go out rollerskating and, you guessed it, do the same god damned thing again. Only broke one of the bones that time though lol.

I once broke my thumb taking a free kick. As I followed through with the strike, my hand got caught by my boots.
I scored from 26 yards though, so it was all good!
I hope you have a speedy recovery.

I'm sorry to put this so bluntly, but how the fuck did this happen?

Slipped slightly and tendon tightened and snapped taking the bone with it.

Wow, to me that doesn't even sound physically possible. But it sounds really painful though :/ Hope it goes well and doesn't cause too much trouble for you.

Well that I can believe. I can only imagine what it's like, though. Like Nox here, I have never broken anything. Keep the spirit up! You'll be back on the field soon, and next time you'll both score and avoid breaking your hip!

Thanks man! I've never broken anything before! I'm so drugged up it doesn't hurt!

I broke the joint in my left arm after getting punched in the head and fell onto that block of stone they use between the sidewalk and the street resulting in the surgical removal of the radius head as it was splintered and fused together and almost completely blocking all movement of my left arm.
But before that surgery i had the fun of weeks of moving around without a F-ing cast and even waking up one morning on top of my fucked up arm.
And after all that i am still way more pissed off at the first aid doctor then the jerk who punched me because she told me i imagined breaking my arm (one bone was intact in my lower arm and because of it was not hanging besides my body like a ragdoll)
Nothing is worse then the pain you feel when its a busted joint i sympathize with you and hope you will recover very soon.
Just count yourself lucky as the doctors actually knew you broke your hip comrade and unlike me wont have to fuck around several days before getting proper painkillers.

Ouch. That sounds terrible. Have you fully recovered? My hip is getting better. I'm off painkillers!
