The gay liberal attack on Rick Perry is appalling.. I mean they claim he's gay cause he might have messed around with a few young ones before, but he couldn't resist. Nothing gay about that, just old lucifer forcing him to sin. We can bring jobs to America if we all recommit to our Christian faith and start praying for lord to have mercy and to bring those jobs down from the heavens.

I was watching Fox News (lol) when I saw that ad and I literally stopped what I was doing to process what I had just heard. I didn't even expect something aired on Fox to be that blatantly bigoted. I mean come on, the guy pretty much said that he hates the very concept of homosexuality. He flat out said that allowing gay people to serve in the armed forces is a symptom of something seriously wrong with the country as if homosexuality was some sort of abomination.
I am not often surprised by what conservatives say but this one was actually a bit shocking to here on a "mainstream" television channel.

So 53% of the viewers reacted to this video. Of these 2% liked the video. 98% disliked the video. In other words....1,2% of all viewers liked this video. 51% of all viewerd disliked the video.
And the joke is...that this video will be the worst rated video in a short while. Hitting the networks very soon. Allowing for even more access to this message. You can not buy publicity like this. IMO this is brilliant. Come election time everybody will have forgotten the content and gone on to the next internet hype of the week. But everybody will know Rick Perry's brand.

This is pretty brilliant. There is nothing the reactionaries in the Republican base likes more than teh librul mediaz and libruls getting pissed off over stuff like this. So yeah he made the smart call here especially when you consider the Iowa caucus is dominated by social conservatives.

Sorry if Im getting this wrong,
but Rick perry didnt state there was something wrong with homosexuality outright, he said it was wrong that religion in america had experienced a setback and that he felt christians were being left out?
If you go to the meaning of the word, that is.

He implied that there was by saying the line of "gays can serve in the military". He is also complaining about the idiotic perceived notion that religion is somehow being persecuted in this country. This argument happens every Christmas here because a couple of cities say no to public displays of religion. So you're right in that sense yes.

Well what are they going to do? Remove all the trees? Btw, the whole Christmas tree thing was stolen from pagans anyhow. But most things in christianity are stolen from pagan religions and then twisted anyhow. And Jesus is a cheap knock off.

Is there any truth in the claim by some people that Perry and the other candidates are just there to make Romney look better? I sort of want to believe that, because these people (and I include Romney in this) might get elected to be the "most powerful person in the West". They make Bush look intelligent.

It has to be true. Never have we had such sham candidates in the race. Seriously, Obama one of the most hated Presidents at the end of his first term might win by a landslide. Also I think it might be an important thing to note that this could still be a point of movement for the left. And I really can't put my finger on which candidate I hate the most.

I saw this the other day and clicked dislike to add my drop of water to the ocean of dislikes. He seems to think that in a country where 80% of people are christians that he has bragging rights to not be ashamed about being one. He thinks Christians are prevented from celebrating Christmas and that Obama has waged war on religion. This idiot hasn't got a chance.... well I hope not.

Well Perry is running on an extreme right-wing Christian platform, so this video isn't that novel or interesting; just more bullshit and hate speech from an ignorant white man. Welcome to American politics...

Looking at the like/dislike bar on that video, I have to disagree.

Well no need to fear him becoming President now, he is, and was, a joke throughout the campaign, Gingrich is a lot more of a worry because he can actually articulate and is quite a good orator, Perry was a bumbling disaster waiting to happen in every debate.

I don't think there is a fear of Gingrich or Romney becoming president ethier, they are both destroying the other's campaign and who ever comes out on top will simply be finished off by Obama. That said, I think Romney stands a better chance then Gingrich, I have a friend who is extremely conservative and yet even he said he wouldn't vote for Gingrich. Many conservatives won' vote for Romney because he is a Mormon and they won't vote for Gingrich because of his personal history, and if they are even a little Libertarian, the fact he has supported policies such as executing people for drug possession.

I agree, I don't think Obama would have much problem defeating Gingrich, Romney would have a better chance being able appeal to Republican "moderates", undecided voters and disillusioned Democrats. Gingrich seems to thrive in the debates and on stage though, and can think on his feet with a rebuttal to anything whereas Romney always comes of a bit dull and all this recent stuff over his tax returns has been a big blow. It is incredibly hypocritical though, how Gingrich is seeming to represent the right of the party preaching "traditional, family values" considering his history with his wives, I also read that his sister is a lesbian married to another woman which is quite ironic really.
