I'm on the other side of the pond so I can't make it, although I have fond memories of Manchester.

Okay. It seems like it would take longer than an hour and a half to do this subject justice. Who is putting it on? Who is the speaker? The intro blurb does not sound as promising as it might.

My guess its from an anarchist or possibly leftcom perspective? If so I'd be interested in what they'd say.

My quick answer

What they are

Working class people who woke up.

where they come from

I don't live in the UK. Anywhere workers live I would guess

.An I-spy guide will be provided

Is it as good as leftist trainspotters? The history of British Trotskyism is interesting.Would it be possible for you to scan the I-Spy guide?

The perspective won't be leftcom or anarchist.

If this has anything to do with a similar survey that included only fringe groups with all kinds of lunacy and labelled them trotskyist it will be equally bad.(was made by some leftcoms who for some reason are more worried about trotskyism than MLism, hoxhaism or maoism)
I will hope it has nothing to do with that and is actually a good survey.
