We were talking about this today.. Here's some thing I've heard people say that made me think.. First world problems. :rolleyes: (no third worldist)

1. I was late because my mercedes broke down (she lives 5 mins away).
2. I hate it when I'm home alone with my maid, it's sooo awks.
3. I liked my own status!
4. BBM is down..! What am I supposed to do now.
5. This lattee has like 500 calories, I'm gonna be so fat you guys..

Except I can't afford to have any of those problems. Mine are much more basic like keeping a roof over my head, food in my stomach, and some kind of income to afford the last two. Hell I can't even really afford to go to a doctor even with insurance so meh.

Yeah I've come to really hate the first world problems meme, considering that rather ironically it was probably made by someone who was rather privileged by first world standards.

You're right, it's not really all that funny, but I can't believe that someone would complain about having a maid..

I agree, and there's nothing wrong with the thread that you made, in fact my post was kind of off topic. It's pretty funny, but I just really hate the meme itself which was what I was pointing out in my post.
