One piggy pointed a gun to my friends face last night.
That's pretty fucked up.

Apparently he was at a rather small and tame party after an art show, and one of the artists went up to the second floor and triggered some sort of alarm system. The police showed up, and my friend, unaware of their presence (they hadn't come inside or anything yet), decided to leave. When he opened the door, the cop pulled out his gun and pointed it straight to his face and told him to put his hands in the air. My friend, completely confused and thrown off guard because, well, that's some scary shit right there, is baffled and the cop gets even closer and is holding the gun right next to his skull, probably less than a foot or two away. My friend complies immedaitely.

Everything is fine now, but that wasn't necessary. At all.

I hate pigs.

On a more serious note, I agree with Nin's post after this one. I've stated before on RevLeft that every single interaction I've ever had with police has been conducted in a manner that has hurt me physically or monetarily, whether it was out of their apathy or outright malice.

Glad i live in a small community where the cops are well behaved or they would have been chased out of town long ago.

Only dick-ish thing i ever heard of them doing was when they got stuck on the beach and some guy with a land rover went over to pull them out then they gave him a warning for illegally driving on the beach.

My aunt was married to a cop (They divorced when, believe it or not, he beat her. To add insult to injury she called the cops and when they realized who the assailant was they arrested her. Fuck the Long Beach Police) and the two times I ever met him he just talked about all the fucked up stuff he did. Like how he would drive around yelling "spic" and "nigger" at minorities he saw, even though his family are first generation immigrants from Mexico. And it's worse because he is part of the K-9 unit so he talks about letting dogs loose on people and shit and the damage that his dog will do to you.

Hope he dies violently while on duty.
