Hey, Comrades. I'm from Philadelphia originally and now live in the suburbs. I became a leftist through my Boy Scout Troop, as my Scoutmaster challenged me to read about socialism, and (as I was a huge Rage fan and looked at the back of the Evil Empire CD booklet), I took the Marx-Engels reader out of my school library. When I tried to return it, they told me to keep it, and I've been a leftist every since. At this point, I know I'm aiming for communism, and I believe in revolution over reform. Other than that, I'm working on figuring out what else I believe. There is a vibrant left scene in Philadelphia, as we have many different left organizations and parties. I helped get Occupy Philadelphia started, so I've had the chance to meet a lot of the local leftists.
