(I couldn't think of anywhere other than the Politics sub-forum to post this)

This is a little video I put together from my trip to Cuba this past summer.

I asked about some things in the beginning then there's some footage from the factory. Figured this would be of interest to RevLeft

Did you sneak in your camera or was it allowed in? When I toured a cigar factory in Havana last year they had a strict no-camera rule.

It's usually not allowed but they let us film that day. It does look like I'm trying to be sneaky during the Q and A part, but that was really just me holding my phone awkwardly.

How'd you like it OP? Last time I went was almost exactly 3 years ago, I loved it. I'd be interested to hear what your reactions were, either here or PM or whatever.

Thanks for posting the video.

It was a pretty great experience. We got to see quite a lot and meet people from various organizations. And the fact that we were doing a travel challenge is important too in my opinion.

Did you go with an organization?

Nope. A local episcopal church has a sister church in Sibanicu, Cuba, so every year they organize a trip to bring supplies to the people there. I go with them. Technically, the organization would be the Episcopal Church, but it's really rather informal, with people on the ground doing the organizing and such.

Sounds like an organization to me ;)
