I think I was in a Q magazine once.... and the local newspaper. Although I'm in the process of writing a letter to the Guardian so lets see where it goes! But congratulations comrade! Keep it up!

To clarify a bit, it's a rather localist little piece, invoking my hometown's maritime history and drawing inspiration from my sailor great great grandfather (who appears to have been the ultimate reactionary, but nevermind that). A total of... one page. :D It was a damn short novella.

I don't think I've been published, but I did win $50 for getting second place in a writing competition in 7th grade.

It's actually a high point in my career.

I actually have a lot of my mail shipped to my parent's place, so I haven't got the piece in person yet. I'm going over tomorrow to pick it up. It will be cool to see this in print!
