hey, first timer on the site, just wanted to know if anyone can fill me in on how che rise to his position?

im guessing you mean comandante...

che signed up to be fidels armys doctor in the beginning. however, his bravery, loyalty, and ability to put himself last and work hard brought him admiration from castro. this, and the fact that che was one of the first of castros men, are the basic reasons why che ended up where he did.
