My favorite one of the lot.

It is, but at the same time I get what he is trying to say by it. "Militant leftist coup" is a better choice of words.

What the fuck is up with the Lenin sign seriously what are they trying to do with the faux Cyrillic characters? Make it seem foreign and scary?

Everyone is scared of Cyrillic!

Funny story, I was in the US and a person wanted to see what my Serbian ID card looked like. So I pulled it out of my wallet and let him see it. They looked at it and said "You guys write in communist letters?!" I just sighed, and said: "Yes, we write in communist letters, because clearly a form of writing can have a political viewpoint."

It was one of those moments where you look at the person and feel sorry for them, rather than get upset. lol

Funny because this is what I have heard from Mongolians where cyrillic really was imposed by the soviets and a few people have been trying (without much success) to end it because it is a legacy from their years as an eastern-bloc state.
