i mean, i know everyday we celebrate the Che in revolutionary spirit, but...
is there an official, commemorative day for Che, worldwide? Or perhaps a Cuban day of Che we may adopt?

Worldwide? Not that I know of, but I wouldn't be surprised if there is one in Cuba;I hear over there they have their school children recite,"we will be like Che" in their daily pledge.

I don't know of an official Che Day, but May 1st (the real Labour Day) works for all revolutionaries around the world.
That's when I celebrate Kropotkin Day.:thumbup1:

yes i assume Che is celebrated on may day...but perhaps we should adopt whatever Cuba's national Che day (i would wager there is one) is? i mean he is so inspirational, no one can argue that..he even has his own forum here!

Giving Che his own day sounds very cultish and is generally unneeded. He was a great man who did great things but no human deserves their own day.

In 1967, Fidel proclaimed October 8 the Day of the Heroic Guerrilla (día del guerrillero heroico).

Let's not create a cult of personality for Che, although he rightfully deserves one.
