I need a new phone and Cricket is really lacking in good phones right now. The ZTE Warp came out for Boost and its cheap. Is Boost mobile about the same quality as Cricket or should I keep my Optimus for awhile longer until Cricket comes out with a decent phone?

Boost runs on the Sprint-Nextel / Virgin Mobile network ... to give you an idea of the service quality

I used to have Cricket years ago. I had boost about a year back. In NYC it was absolute shit. But it was still better than Cricket from what I remember. I usually had coverage but a lot (~30%) of text messages wouldn't go through. The cost wasn't bad. MetroPCS is a lot better in my opinion. I never had any problems with it and the cost is around the same as Boost. If you have it where you are I would suggest looking into it.

Second the MetroPCS suggestion. It's popular here and a lot of my friends use it as it's cheap. They have good service quality here as long as you don't venture out past the suburbs.
Although with Metro you have about two weeks after your bill due date and they give your number away, then when you pay your bill again they give you a totally different number. Just FYI.

IDK... I used my metropcs phone in places I would never expect, like way upstate New York, in Pennsyltucky, way out in Jersey, etc. I guess it varies by location.

Already got the warp. NHIA it sounds like you got a phone that runs on IDEN which is crap while the Warp runs on CDMA. Hopefully the CDMA is better and works like people have said.
I wanted MetroPCS, but the LG Esteem is $349.00, but you get a $100 mail in rebate though to cut it down to $249.00. I wanted to get it, but didn't have the cash.
