I'm currently reading John Lee Anderson's Biography of Che, (i'm just at the bay of pigs attack so far) and it just struck me that it is really in depth...a bit too much, in my taste. I love and admire Che, but do we really need to know that much about him? It's interesting to learn a lot about a person and all, but the author even found out when and with who he lost his virginity! Doesn't that seem a bit extreme...? Not that i'm critiqing the biography, i find it very very well written, and interesting.

ah well... that wouldn't disturb me that much...I mean I'm not particularly interested in who lost his or her virginity and with who but such details are sometimes amusing and interesting.

Nez,you are right, sometimes it gets verypersonal.
Right now I'm up to chapter 11.
The book tells the good and not so good,it helps you keep perspective.
As I read I feel my admiration growing, Che really work hard to achive his dreams. He had so many obstacles to overcome,...

Yeah, what i find most fascinating about it is seeing how much he changed throughout his youth. From, when he left on him motorcycle trips, to the revolution are where i saw the most dramatic changes...
I guess the book is trying to be fair by showing all sides of him, but i did sorta find it a bit odd to read some parts...i guess i'm just bashful :P
