Russia will deploy new missiles aimed at U.S. missile defense sites in Europe if Washington goes ahead with the planned shield despite Russia's concerns, President Dmitry Medvedev said Wednesday.Russia will station missiles in its westernmost Kaliningrad region and other areas if Russia and NATO fail to reach a deal on the U.S.-led missile defense plans, he said in a tough statement that seemed to be aimed at rallying domestic support.
Russia considers the plans for missile shields in Europe, including in Romania and Poland, to be a threat to its nuclear forces, but the Obama administration insists they are meant to fend off a potential threat from Iran.

While the United $tates government threatens the integrity and independence of Syria and the entire region peace will not be a chance as peace can only be a chance when imperialism has fully been forced out of the region and no longer threatens the territorial integrity and independence of Syria.

Russia honestly is going about this the wrong way though, Russia should ideally place the missile system as close to the United $tates as possible in order to show that while the missiles are dangerously close to its border then missiles can be dangerously close to the border of an aggressive imperialist nation attempting to directly encircle the Russian Federation. Not to mention, now is the time for the Russian Federation to come true with its obligations to the Iranian government and sell the Iranian government the missile systems that it has been depriving it for so long due to Russia jumping on board the sanctions put forth by the United $tates and its European lackeys.

All the missile defense shit is theoretical. There is no stopping an ICBM. Once it re-enters the atmosphere, it is basically an artillery shell. Not to mention no nation would launch a single one, but rather several at many targets. There is no way to stop that shit once it is launched.

They where rather successful at stopping Iraqi scuds coming down on Israel with the patriot missile system.

THEL is almost operational in Israel.

The scuds were obsolete technology that didn't include modernization the USSR developed to counter the Patriot missile system before it even existed. These include decoys that makes the missile system think it is a warhead when it is just a cheap aluminum balloon reflecting radar singles back so the computer sees a warhead. Then there are warheads with chemical payloads where the chemicals can survive a explosion and being heavier then air will fall to the ground and contaminate the area below where the warhead blew up over, so shortly after the missile crews cheer over blowing up the warhead they are shaking violently due to neurotoxins in the warhead and if they can't get their masks on fast enough they will die very painfully as their lungs will be burning also if they don't cover their skin their skin will blister.
