Living in a fundamentally racist society like the States, stuff like what Pat just said is one of the more "friendlier" things being said.

I am so used to all the inane racist stuff coming out of old white people's mouths that the video didn't stun me at all and I almost took it as him being rather friendly about something he didn't know, either that or him taking a cheap shot at blacks and playing ignorant about not knowing what mac'n'cheese is.

White people eat Mac'n'cheese too. It's served along with meatloaf and sweet potatoes, so he was acting coy in order to take a cheap shot, IMO. That is how these racist old timers work.
