I really want to study Urban Planning but the job as a career has dried up along with the construction and architecture jobs in the States. Here in the States, urban planning is way underfunded and you really have be at the mercy at whatever market is available.
Is it like this overseas too? Does anyone know?
I figured urban planners were more in demand and that overseas the profession is seen as a subset of civil engineering and architecture.
