Hi people! lol this is awkward i guess, but here goes. In terms of my roots my family are working class, my parents both vote for the Labour party, and my dad is a member, so I suppose I grew up with a sort of mainstream moderate leftist view. However, when I was around 16 I discovered so much more, in terms of depth of political thought, than my dad, a retired welder (bless him, but thinking's not his strong point :P) could give me. Now, as well as Che Guevara, Keir Hardie, Noam Chomsky, Owens etc of the mainstream left, I looked up to Kropotkin, Malatesta, Faure, anarchism, or rather anarchist communism, appealed to me most, as unlike a lot of other leftist groups, it did not have an insane fixation with non violence. I firmly believe, and perhaps this is due in part to my background and upbringing, that the best way to show fascist, racist and rightist scum your disapproval is a good left hook (yes im left handed aren't I special :P) to the chin, especially when, a lot of the time they do not hesitate to use violence against us. So, thats about it for now, I look forward to talking to some of you in the near future.
